Experience Preferred:

• 1+ year of restaurant experience (preferred but not required)

• Ability to work 35–45 hours per week

• At least 18 years of age

• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays

• Willingness to coach, train, and manage team members

• Positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction

• Ability to stand for long hours and work in a hands-on environment

Key Responsibilities of a Jersey Mike’s Manager:

• Greet customers, take orders, and serve food and drinks with positivity and accuracy

• Operate the POS system, handle cash/credit payments, and calculate change correctly

• Lead the team in preparing subs and menu items according to Jersey Mike’s standards

• Oversee restaurant cleanliness—dining area, kitchen, utensils, and restrooms

• Train, schedule, and mentor new team members to build a strong crew

• Handle customer concerns calmly and professionally to ensure satisfaction

• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and operational policies

• Manage store operations including:

  • Staffing & scheduling

  • Food safety and quality

  • Inventory and stock ordering

  • Cash handling and financial tracking

  • Equipment maintenance

  • Loyalty rewards engagement and growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Cashier Duties: Take orders, process payments, and handle transactions accurately (if assigned)

• Stock & Replenish: Monitor supplies and restock when needed

• Food & Safety Standards: Follow food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations
