Job Summary

Frida’s is seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team and help deliver consistently high-quality food in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

This role is responsible for preparing menu items with precision, maintaining kitchen standards, and working closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth and efficient service. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craft, works well under pressure, and thrives in a team-oriented kitchen where timing, organization, and attention to detail matter.

What You’ll Do

Food Preparation & Cooking

• Prepare and cook menu items with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail

• Ensure all dishes meet presentation, portion, and quality standards

• Maintain consistency in recipes and cooking techniques

Kitchen Organization & Station Setup

• Set up and maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation

• Assist with prep work and ingredient preparation as needed

• Rotate inventory and support receiving deliveries when necessary

Kitchen Operations & Teamwork

• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members during service

• Maintain efficiency and focus during high-volume service periods

• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Food Safety & Sanitation

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations

• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment at all times

• Properly store, label, and handle ingredients according to kitchen standards

What We’re Looking For

• Must be available Tuesday through Saturday

• Previous experience working in a professional kitchen

• Strong knife skills and familiarity with a variety of cooking methods and kitchen equipment

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining food quality

• Strong time management and multitasking skills

• Dependable, organized, and team-oriented

• Commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen standards
