About the Role

Eggman ATX is hiring Line Cooks / BOH Team Members for our brand new Round Rock location. This is a multipurpose back-of-house role — meaning you won't be locked into one station. You'll be fully cross-trained as a Line Cook, Food Expeditor (Expo), and Kitchen Team Member, stepping into whatever the kitchen needs to keep service running at Eggman's high-standards pace. Core Skills & Qualifications

• Grill operation and egg cookery (fried, scrambled, sandwich assembly)
• Food preparation, mise en place, and recipe adherence
• Food expediting and order accuracy
• Made-to-order cooking in a high-volume, fast-paced breakfast kitchen
• Food safety and sanitation compliance (Food Handler Certification or ServSafe a plus)
• Kitchen equipment operation (flat-top grill, fryer, food prep stations)
• Portion control and quality consistency
• Ability to cross-train and rotate across multiple kitchen stations
• Clear communication with front-of-house and kitchen teammates
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Morning and breakfast shift availability preferred — including weekends and holidays
• Previous line cook, prep cook, expo, or kitchen experience preferred — willing to train the right candidate

Key Responsibilities

Line Cook & Food Preparation

• Prep and cook all menu items to Eggman ATX quality and portion standards — made-to-order, every time
• Operate flat-top grill, fryer, and food prep stations with speed and precision
• Assemble NYC-inspired breakfast sandwiches using house-made sauces and fresh ingredients
• Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation across every single order

Expediting & Order Accuracy

• Verify completed orders for accuracy before handoff to the guest
• Serve as the final quality check — every order, every time
• Communicate order modifications, delays, and discrepancies to the kitchen team immediately
• Keep ticket times on track during peak breakfast service

Kitchen Operations & Cross-Training

• Rotate across all BOH stations as needed — grill, prep, and expo
• Support restocking, inventory replenishment, and station setup throughout the shift
• Assist with opening and closing kitchen procedures
• Step into any station to maintain the pace, quality, and flow the Eggman kitchen is known for

Food Safety & Standards

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols at all times
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation throughout every shift
• Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and temperature monitoring
• No microwaves. No shortcuts. Every item fresh and made-to-order
