Job Summary

KR Restaurants is seeking an experienced Front of House Operations Manager to oversee service operations across multiple restaurant locations in the St. Louis area.

This leadership role is responsible for supporting front-of-house teams, guiding shift managers, maintaining consistent service standards, and ensuring smooth daily operations across all locations. The FOH Operations Manager will work closely with restaurant leadership and kitchen teams to improve service flow, strengthen team performance, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate is an organized and proactive hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment and enjoys coaching teams, solving operational challenges, and maintaining high standards across multiple locations.

 

Key Responsibilities

Multi-Unit FOH Leadership

• Oversee and support front-of-house shift managers across multiple restaurant locations

• Ensure consistent service standards and guest experience across all KR Restaurants

• Provide leadership, coaching, and operational guidance to FOH teams

• Maintain clear communication between restaurant locations and leadership

Service Operations & Guest Experience

• Monitor service flow and assist with operational improvements

• Address guest concerns or service issues professionally when needed

• Step in during peak service periods to support restaurant operations

• Ensure cleanliness, hospitality standards, and service procedures are consistently followed

Staffing, Hiring & Training

• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training front-of-house team members

• Develop and maintain training materials for FOH staff and leadership

• Provide coaching and development opportunities for team members

• Ensure shift managers are properly trained and following operational procedures

Scheduling & Administrative Duties

• Create and manage weekly front-of-house staff schedules

• Enter payroll hours and support payroll reporting processes

• Submit daily end-of-day operational reports

• Print menus and operational materials as needed

Operations & Restaurant Support

• Collaborate with Sous Chefs and kitchen leadership to maintain smooth FOH-BOH coordination

• Support operational needs at each restaurant location when required

• Work with third-party delivery platforms such as DoorDash and Uber Eats

• Audit POS activity including voids, refunds, loyalty accounts, and transaction accuracy

Additional Operational Responsibilities

• Run operational errands when necessary

• Assist with décor updates for holidays and special events

• Support restaurant teams during busy nights, weekends, and holidays

 


 

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of restaurant management or senior front-of-house leadership experience

• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills

• Ability to manage multiple restaurant locations and priorities simultaneously

• Experience hiring, training, and developing restaurant staff

• Strong organizational skills and attention to operational details

• Experience with POS systems and restaurant technology platforms

• Comfortable using spreadsheets and basic reporting tools

• Reliable vehicle for travel between restaurant locations

• Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused in fast-paced environments

• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed
