Job Summary

Christian Fellowship School is seeking a dedicated and supportive Teacher’s Assistant to help create a positive, structured learning environment for students. Teacher’s Assistants play an important role in supporting the lead teacher, reinforcing lessons, and helping students succeed both academically and personally.

Christian Fellowship School provides a Christ-centered, college-preparatory education designed to foster knowledge, faith, and character development in students.  The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, communicates effectively, and is passionate about helping students grow in both learning and character.

What You’ll Do

Classroom Support

• Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom instruction and activities

• Provide additional support to students who need extra help understanding lessons

• Reinforce classroom instruction through small group or one-on-one tutoring

• Help maintain a positive and productive learning environment

Instruction & Lesson Preparation

• Assist in preparing materials and resources needed for daily lessons

• Support the development and organization of lesson plans and classroom activities

• Help organize classroom materials, assignments, and learning tools

Student Progress & Documentation

• Track and document student progress and classroom participation

• Assist teachers in monitoring student performance and behavior

• Provide feedback to the lead teacher regarding student needs or challenges

Classroom Organization

• Help prepare the classroom before lessons begin

• Maintain an organized and clean learning environment

• Assist with supervising students during transitions or classroom activities

• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff

• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented

• Ability to manage multiple classroom tasks efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a classroom, childcare, or tutoring environment

• Experience assisting with lesson planning or classroom preparation

• Familiarity with educational support or student progress documentation
