Prep cook
General Job Description
- responsible for the prep and quality of all side dishes and food that will be cooked on our smokers. The prep cook must be the duty expert in the use of our products and equipment. This position requires a great deal of knowledge on utilizing our recipes, prep area, storage (both cold and dry storage),and cooking process.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Regulate production according to the business needs and established PARs for the restaurant.
- Communicate with line servers and Management to keep product stocked.
- Preform weekly cleaning(s) on all prep areas, storage (cold and dry).
- Prepare all foods required for service inside the restaurant including but not limited to all side dishes, ingredients to complete side dishes, deserts, and other items that may be added.
- Assist in preparing all meats that will be smoked daily.
- Perform other related duties as described by Management.
- Follow all posted checklists for the position.
Qualifications
- must be able to life 40-80 lbs at a time
